View Full Version : MVOS Spring Show, Feb. 18-19
Jon in SW Ohio January 11th, 2006, 11:57 PM That time of year for my local show here in SW Ohio, the Miami Valley Orchid Society Show will be held at Cox Arboretum Saturday Feb. 18 and Sunday Feb. 19.
If you have any questions, PM or e-mail me and I should be able to answer or find answers to any questions you may have. We are a smaller society with one whopper show...never ceases to amaze me how many people come through the doors each year. If you can make it, look for the "kid" with the shaggy red hair and goatee and say hi.

Porter's Orchids will be there. It is a good show! Hopefully, the weather will be kind this year...
Jon in SW Ohio January 12th, 2006, 03:45 PM Not positive, but the vendors usually there are: Natts Orchids, Porter's Orchids, New Vision Orchids, CAT Orchids, Hilltop Orchids, Purple Clay Imports, Oakwood Orchids, Summerfield Orchids, and a few others.
A couple years ago we got a "blizzard" preventing anyone from attending without a four wheel drive. Right now it's nearly 60 degrees out...but this is Ohio, and the weather follows no rhyme or reason, so it could be t-shirt weather or well below freezing.

I'm 5'10", 180, long brown hair to my waist and I have a beard...my name is Lowell. I don't know if we will have name tags or not, but please don't be shy..

Jon in SW Ohio February 16th, 2006, 03:49 AM I will be there friday afternoon for setup, saturday morning for judging, and all sunday. Hopefully I don't have much to do at work and I can spend more time there during friday and saturday...but that's a roll of the dice.
