This is another plant both grown and photographed by Tony Omeis. It is a cross of Sorcerer's Apprentice and Andean Fire. He is the originator of the cross and in personal correspondance with him I was told it was made with fairly average parents. He stated that he would like to see it remade with awarded parents to see if it has the potential he thinks it has. At his request I have done so and am waiting to see if the seed capsule holds.

Nice! Reminds me a lot of Inca Embers.
I just don't have room for these huge ones anymore though. Wait, I never had room for them!

Note to self - buy new house for slippers! My word, if they ever get as large as some of those wonderful Japanese specimens posted out there, I'm DOOMED!

I have WAY overbought this year. Sigh...and still buying! :oops:
