Hi fellow Orchidists.
I have kept orchids for about 15 years and had given most of my original collection away. Circumstances now allow me to return to my love of the orchid. I am gratified by looking through the various posts how many of you
are so eager and helpful in expanding our horizons and helping solve problems with culture and growing. I have a small collection of Phals going right now but am really looking forward to expanding. I miss the long tailed phrags I had
in my first group and am trying to locate some once again. I hope to find a couple (compact) growers to begin with and am still researching cultivars to see what my best choices are. I grow primarily in window-sill and underlights. I once had a phal species stuartiana up to 57 blooms and kept the plant for 10 years. I know they are all capable of more but I was pretty
happy to have that much going. I truly look forward to more good years of
orchid growing. The orchid is just a fantastic flower and more people should
try to culture them to perfection. That is a goal. Thanks much for this great
web site.
