Here is a shot of my new indoor set-up. Previously all of these were on the floor. I had been looking for a long skinny table and lo and behold my parents wanted to get rid of this one when I went home for the holidays...so I took it off their hands! It is perfect because it has beveled glass that allows sunlight to get through to the lower shelf. Looks like I have room for MORE SLIPPERS! This is in addition to my indoor atrium, that is rather full at the moment for winter. All of these are paphs and phrags, except for the one token B. Nodosa which will eventually go back in the atrium (I'm watching it because it lost a leaf for no good reason).

What a treasure -- and how good of you to take it off your parent's hands!

That is one nice table.... love that colour of the wood... and how nicely it sets up the healthy greens of your plants... there is one plant on the brink on the corner... if you run out of space.. I'll take it off your hands :)

Betta guarding the slippers, looks kinda familiar.
I am setting up a breeding tank for my Copper pair tonight, the male keeps looking at the half filled 10 gallon tank and then at the female like he's plotting an escape to it with her. Now to make room between plants for the tank.

Cool! I am anxious to hear how that turns out. Already now that I have 2 bettas, I am realizing they have very different personalities. My blue veil tailed betta is pretty laid back, but very active. He seems normal and happy. My red crowntail betta is so feisty and he flares up all the time! When I turn the aquarium light on he gets all excited and really shows off. He blows lots of random bubbles at the top of his tank. I think he's a little crazy...
