In Wildcatt, the cross as originally registered shows delenatii as the pod parent. Also, all three awarded Quasimodos have delenatii listed as the pod parent. However, you can cross it either way or both, and all the seedlings would be considered Paph Quasimodo.

An interesting question, as the pod parent will influence the cross more than the pollen parent. In this case the delenatii will broaden the petals, and have a strong tendency to take out most of the color of the sukhakulii. It has such a strong effect in its progeny that it doesn't matter much if it's a pod or pollen parent.

The reverse cross with the sukhakulii as the pod parent would probably have a bit more color, narrower petals, etc. The delenatii would still wash out most of the color.

Why not try both versions of the cross as an experiment?
