I just discovered one of the largest greenhouse complexes in the country in Willcox, Arizona (potential client). They are growing tomatoes hydroponically and produce 250,000lbs of tomatoes each DAY, 365 days per year! They now have well over 200 acres in ONE greenhouse complex!

Here is an interesting link that is a virtual tour.

Here is a link to a question/answer session with the manager of the operation. He is discussing greenhouse conditions, use of rockwool, ventilation, cooling, humidity, bees, predatory insects and other environmental factors. Lots of good information that we can use for orchids!!! A good read.

I can just imagine orchid complexes like this in Taiwan, China, and other nations!
