Various photos of this species in its natural habitat.
The photos were was taken on a gravel road just outside of Zamora. Maybe 10km outside the town.

Just phenomenal!
It blows me away seeing them blooming in their natural habitat - if I was Kyle, I'd probably have fainted seeing all this wonderfulness!

It is awesome to see them in nature. Dr. Goldner, said that road crews near the cities will actually mow them down. :(

What a thrill is must be to see them actually growing along the road side. I would possibly be glued to the spot. I love to see these photos.

No, it totally blows me away - infathomable!
Spectacular! Hard to believe, really.
This will sound weird, but it makes me so PROUD of them - we give them such attention in our care (I worry, obsess, and over-indulge,) and yet they're growing on the road like milkweed down there!
Amazing!!!

Very nice...looks like it is growing on a rock, can see why we should keep them slightly drier
