Paphgirl December 1st, 2005, 05:39 PM Ohh...anitum x roth?
See? We in the US don't have all the good plants! Bah humbug!!
Congrats on your purchases! they look lovely, and I'm totally jealous of the Kolosand and the anitum cross. Wah!!
Dwayne Dibbley December 1st, 2005, 05:48 PM I paid $225 for the 3 plants
Could not source them anywhere online but
through a purchase on Ebay i got an email addy.
Hopefully they can source some of the obscure
roth crosses i need.
Paphraguy December 1st, 2005, 06:37 PM Ohh...anitum x roth?
See? We in the US don't have all the good plants! Bah humbug!!
Congrats on your purchases! they look lovely, and I'm totally jealous of the Kolosand and the anitum cross. Wah!!
Actually, we do have anitum hyrbids here in the US, anitum x sanderianum and a couple of different crosses. I have seen them listed online.
Paphgirl December 1st, 2005, 06:47 PM Yeah, thanks, I know there are a few, but they aren't widespread or inexpensive, from what I've seen.
Mostly I want the anitum parent!
Dwayne Dibbley December 1st, 2005, 07:07 PM Mostly I want the anitum parent!
I have seen them offered on Ebay but price is prohibitive.
Basically $75 for a small seedling.
Paphraguy December 1st, 2005, 07:08 PM Mostly I want the anitum parent!
Yeah, me too!
Greenpaph December 1st, 2005, 10:23 PM Super healthy plants!
Congrats!
I have a number of anitum crosses myself! Look forward to all of them!
thanks
Jon in SW Ohio December 1st, 2005, 10:29 PM $75 for a seedling isn't bad at all...if it's something you really want. Lord knows I've paid much more for plants that I couldn't live without. Thankfully, unlike gas prices, most slippers are getting cheaper...unfortunately patience isn't usually a virtue of mine on payday.

Gideon December 2nd, 2005, 12:57 AM Great list
Healthy looking plants too.
Stephan December 2nd, 2005, 03:44 AM Quality collection Dwayne :)
bench72 December 2nd, 2005, 04:46 AM Dissapointing Dwayne... where's the Paph phil's :poke:
actually, I think I've already voiced plenty how much I think ur phrag collection, though light in quantity is heavy in quality!
so, this anitum x roth... what's the leaf span? Mine's soooo tiny... just measured it and only 6".... wonder how big they have to be to flower...
cheers
tim
Dwayne Dibbley December 2nd, 2005, 12:17 PM Anitum x roth has 14" leaf span.
According to the article i,ve linked to leaf length for
P anitum can be 45cm(over 18") long.If this is right
then we're talking BIG before flowering size.
