I went out and measured after dinner. It's actually 23 inches from the crown of the plant.

No its kinda like an longiflolium or boissieranum with extra wavy edges on the petals. In fact many still clasify it as a somewhat darker variety of boissieranum

The only slipper in bloom is one I got from Peter (greenpaph) earlier this year....Paph A. Dimmock. I will try to get a digital camera and post a picture. I hope we get a digital camera this year for Christmas.

this is one of the ones to keep dry, yes? and after reading the leaf spans on yours the 7" on mine seems, well... anyways... it'll grow...

Thanks Bench. Dry is a relative term. I still water it more than most of my paphs, but its not in standing water like the pearcei.
