Do you grow your cypripediums indoors or outside?

Which ones do you grow? I live in an apartment an have tried to grow them indoors with limited success. My best performer is Cypripedium pubescens.

I grow basically the chinese ones, like flavum, macranthus, formosanum, calceolus, plectrochilum, and i'm trying acaule and californicum too. Thank's
