Hello all, i am back after way too long absence and hoping that someone can give me an idea how to deal with small black bugs on my Phrag Scarlet Ohara's one open flower. They are so small that its hard to see if they are moving or maybe they are just small black flecks of something. it wouldnt do any good to try to post a picture because they would be impossible to see.

Right now i have the phrag sitting on a window sill away from the other plants. my grow area is really, really, really small so isolating plants has always been a tricky endevour.

Frankly i am considering tossing the plant because it has always looked sickly even though it manages to bloom. on another vien, does anyone know anyone in Canada who has a Phrag Scarlet Ohara or Phragmipedium Prissy(Saint Ouen x besseae) that they are willing to sell? Many thanks, mary:fcrossed:

If the bugs are only on the flower then remove the flower and toss it in the garbage. If the plant has not been doing well then replace it with a healthy plant.

If you think the plant is of inferior quality then I would also get rid of it and get a better plant instead.

I agree with the other posters! If your other plants are fine without any bugs then get rid of it especially if it is not doing so well.
