I just received my order from JEM today. I got a Paph. Mustache (Philippinense x St. Swithin) and what is labeled as a Paph. Shireen (Philippinense x Glaucophyllum). I already have two Paph. Shireens and both of them have plain green leaves, NOT mottled. The leaves on this paph are mottled, so I have no idea what it is. But I just wanted to confirm that there is no chance that this plant is paph. Shireen, correct?

Here is a close up of the tag/base of plant:

Here is a picture of the entire plant:

And here is a picture of the mislabeled plant next to one of my Paph. Shireens:

And here is my other paph Shireen:

In addition to the Paph ?Shireen? I also got a Paph. Mustache and thought maybe the tags were switched, but I don't think this one is supposed to be a mottled leaf either, so hopefuly it is the correct plant.

Also there is a little spot I will have to watch that I think may be erwinia, or other fungal rot nasty. You can see it smack in the middle of the new leaf emerging. I treated the whole plant with phyton 27.

Overall, the plants are multigrowth and had very healthy roots. They seem to have some mechanical damage, most likely from the hurricane. I am hoping that the one milabeld plant turns out to be something fabulous and recognizeable.

It might be best to call JEM and ask them. They are in the best position to know.

Shireen will not have that much mottling in the leaves. They might have a faint pattern but not to the same extent. This looks like a hybrid with a mottled leaf species or hybrid. Your other plants look spot on.....

I think it is a mislabelled plant, definitely not a Shireen.
