Phrag Schroderae
Looks O.K. seems to be suffering from the heat right now. This is a shot of the whole spike with glimpses of my small front yard rainforest :)

That's beautiful. I just bought a rather large plant, but it may be a while yet before it blooms. It seems you and I both go for the same kind of blooms, the pinks or rose colors with long petals. I can't get enough of them.
I am going to do an experiment with different types of growing methods. One phrag I ordered is 3 plants of Ruby Slippers. I'll explain later this week when I get my seedlings and know what I will be working with. I will work with phaphs and phrags, about 24-30 plants. I live in a small condo so I will be REALLY crowded.

Summer already??
With nights in between 18 and 21 (high 60's) and days already over 30 (high 80's) it is as far as I'm concerned :)
I know it's only going to get worse - The flower has gone all droopy after a warm day Saturday and I think I've "lost" two paphs inadvertantly placed in direct sun during the wrong part of the day :(
Omi, when you first save your post look at the top right and you should see a link that says "edit" next to the "quote" link. Click on this within 30 minutes (? I think) of posting and you can fix those silly spelling mistakes you missed the first to tenth times you checked :)
Thanks for all the feedback guys :)
Cheers
