Here is a photo of my Paph Susan Booth "Paracombe' which flowered for me earlier this year. It is one of my favourite plants. Unfortunately it had only 2 flowers this time. I flowered it once before with three flowers.

Very pretty and I can definitely see both the parents in that plant. Great shot also!

yes, very nice, I am going to need to move to a bigger house with room for a greenhouse, plus a part-time job, who needs to sleep :-dance:

(don't know how I missed this!)

Beautiful job growing, David! A very nice primary hybrid. There was one at the last show I went to. I'm still new at seeing these guys in person, so that was a nice experience. Thanks for sharing!

Stephen - I bought this as a division off Dean Johnstone (Johnstones Orchids in SA) a couple of years back. This is from the same flask that produced Susan Booth 'Highercombe' AM/AOC. Dean was trying to sell a division of 'Highercombe' in Sydney recently for about $850. Nice plant but I wouldn't spend that much on it. I only spent a fraction of that on mine, and it is not that much poorer.

Phew, that's "way" above my mental price barrier. I only bought mine as a seedling from P & R not that long ago. It's a beautiful flower Dave - Are you thinking of getting it awarded next time it flowers?

I think I need to get more flowers on it before I can start thinking about awards. There was another seedling from the same flask that received a HCC award on top of 'Highercombe's' AM award. So the clone I have was considered behind these two. Still, I have seen awarded Susan Booth's that to me weren't as nice as mine although I'm no orchid judge. So maybe one day. There is another growth that should flower soon.
