Though I'm usually a lurker, I wanted to share this photo. This is the first phrag (and second orchid!) I've had rebloom for me. I bought it from Natt's orchids in bloom last spring. A few weeks ago, I was looking at my plants, and noticed a 2" spike on this guy. Imagine my excitement!

Isn't it fun to re-bloom an orchid. For me that is more exciting than seeing a first bloom which I had nothing to do with. Congratulations.

I love seeing first bloomers, but there is a lot of pride that goes along with accomplishing a reblooming. It's always reassuring to know something you are doing is right on!

Nice littel bar crawl photos also. I used to do the South Side St. Paddy's Day Parade in Chicago. We used to do the Western Walk. Whew the good old days! I played rugby for the South Side Irish for a few Years. We used to crawl alot.... :evil:

I grew up in South Boston area, my folks moved to Chi-town when I was a Senior in High School. I luckily stayed with friends for that year. Went to college in Dayton, Ohio. Lived in Chicago area during that 6 year stint. Yes I only have a BS. Then I moved to Syracuse area in New York with my then future wife, and we moved to Charlotte for jobs. We have quite a few good friends that live up in Chicago still. To cold this time of year for me! My folks now live up near Shady Character/Mark in Madison Wi. They love the cold. No thanks!
