I just recently went crazy and ordered a serious haul of slippers and a few token *other* genera. It just seems everywhere I look I am finding a slpendid deal! :poke:

I receieved today my first PEOY from an ebay seller. It looks nice and healthy, possibly near blooming size although I don't know how big they get before they bloom.

I also received my mother load from Sherwood today. I ordered 9 plants and Peggy threw in one in sheath for FREE! Here is what I got:

Paph. Pulsar x Black Cherry x Fairrieanum
Paph. Shireen
Paph. Victoria Reg. x Sanderianum
Paph. Vanguard x Stonei
Paph. Maudiae alba 'Los Osos' x Ruby Leopard 'Snow Queen' (my freebie IN SHEATH!)
Phrag. Sorcerer's Apprentice (long live the Sorcerer!)
Phrag. Hanne Popow (my 1st bessae type)
Lc. Garret Collins
Lc. Mari's Song
Max Tenuifolia

I haven't repotted everything because I am expecting a shipment of prime agra any day now. I did look at the roots of the two phrags and the Sorcerer has roots about 2 feet long! They were in the perfect shape of a squae pot and took me forever to unwind. The Hanne Popow also has a great root system, but it is of course a much smaller plant. Still the roots are about a foot long! :-dance:

Good luck keeping up, Teresa! At least besseaes are relatively small, comparatively.
Two more coming today!

Excellent list of new plants. I was just saying in another thread how much I love Wednesdays!

Teresa,
Regarding Paph. PEOY, my three blooming size ones are anywhere from 23"-30" in leafspan.
Only the 30" one has a previously bloomed growth. What's the leafspan on the one you just got?

But what are those things at the bottom of the list that start with Lc. and Max.?

I have NO idea! I figured I would wrap them up as Christmas gifts. :D

Heather, the LS on my PEOY is 23" so I think I have a little ways to go. I think now this is the biggest Paph I have though!

Ah yes - the haul and a very nice one too.

All plants look interesting - I'll be very interested to see how the sanerianum cross pans out.

Cheers
