TADD July 7th, 2005, 04:14 PM Well grown this time! bench72 July 7th, 2005, 05:38 PM beautiful flower and fantastic photograph... Pete, is the background doctored or??? reminds me of that philippinense.. and it seems like the heavens are shining down it's approval!!! Cheers Tim Paphgirl July 7th, 2005, 05:52 PM Pete's working on the forum - so.... The backdrop is just a wall, I think there are skylights that cause the lighting effects. Tres cool, no? If I ever buy a house, a wall is getting painted that color. I think it is a really excellent backdrop for certain plants, particularly the orangey-red slippers. Milda July 7th, 2005, 06:49 PM It's beautiful!! I bought a hybrid just a couple of months ago and was told that it might be that cross. It had a very long spike and 4 flowers. Don't have any photo :( I wonder if it can flower any time of the year? And what about culture? Ordinary Paph culture? Milda Wendy July 7th, 2005, 08:20 PM What a gorgeous flower...I need to get one so I can cross it off my list. Picsri July 8th, 2005, 07:27 AM very nice.. :clap2: bench72 July 8th, 2005, 09:08 AM Thanks Heather, Will have to keep that in mind during the renovations... Cheers Tim Paphraguy July 8th, 2005, 01:52 PM Thanks for all the nice comments! The background is a blue blackground with sunlight streaming in from a window. |
