Yes, I hope more people continue to register also! Many of us grow other genera in addition to the slippers, even though they may be our favorites. I know there is a wealth of knowledge here about all kinds of orchids!

Very important also to welcome everyone, whether they are new to growing or not. As a newbie a year ago, if people hadn't shown me kindness and helped me along with constructive criticism, and shown me *I could do this too*, I would not be where I am today. (you know who you are...:poke: ) However, since this forum, I've met people I'd never communicated with before, and some I had, and my knowledge continues to grow by leaps and bounds on a daily basis! I never thought a year ago, I'd be so involved with this passion!

I'm astounded DAILY how helpful and generous everyone is here.
My hat's off to all of you! I never imagined a year ago how much of an influence this passion would have on my life. It's been a pleasure to "meet" everyone of you!

This had become my favorite orchid BB. I really only lurked at other sites. but here I seem to post nonstop :lol:

Hi Guys!
I just wanted to thank each and every one of you again for all you bring to this forum! We've had a great influx this week, plus lots of new additions and changes to the forum, and everyone has been spectacular in going with the flow and helping to make it happen!

We have gotten some great press lately - we are being listed in the Slipper Orchid Alliance newsletter and website, and BellaOnline's website - an article will post on Tuesday. I'm still working on Martha and Ellen! :wink:
We hope to have a few surprises in store as well in the weeks to come! :D

Thanks most of all to forum founder and *dilligent* admin, Pete (Paphraguy) who has been working tirelessly day and night on all of this. We've had a few busy weeks, in which many changes have caused a lot of additional work, so thank you all for bearing with us and thank you Peter for your AMAZING efforts! None of us would be enjoying and learning this w/out you, dear!! :love:
