Hey Guys

I was hoping to find someone who may know where I can get a Paphiopedilum micranthum alba. I know it's expensive so no need to inform me of the fact!

Thanks!

Not only expensive but hard to find. You can inquire with Sam at Orchid Inn. Good luck with your search!

Sam doesn't have any nor do any of the other Paph growers around here. I think I have some international contacts so I will definitely try those out.

Zephyrus orchids in canada has a division advertised for $4,000 and another for $5,000.

And there is no guarantee that if you find one, it will be a true alba. Most of them bloom and end up showing a red line somewhere on the petals.

Yes, all very true, but I feel that there is always risk in purchasing plants from anyone unless you buy it in bloom. However, I have seen nurseries "touch up" their flowers so that people think they are buying flower and are actually buying something else >_<
