OK, here's a sticky topic: posting links to photos on the web. Is a direct link to a specific URL OK if you don't take credit for it (particularly if it bypasses a homepage or other identifying information)? I guess in a way it is almost stealing. I ask because I've seen this done many times, and on occasion I've done it myself. Case in point was a recent post where I linked directly into Japanese webpages showing shots of Cypripedium japonicum. On second thought I wasn't sure if that was a good idea.

I don't see any problem with that, especially if it was the sole purpose of sharing information. On the other hand, if the link was from another competitive forum, then that is a different thing. :lol:

As long as it is clear that it is another web site, I think there shouldn't be any copyright issues or anything.
