I need to grow this one cooler so that the colour is more evenly saturated. It's a very vigorous plant. I got it two years ago as a single growth seedling...it bloomed on that first growth last year and is now spiking on all three new growths....and each of those has at least two new growths starting. Not the most beautiful flower but it makes up for that with the show it is going to put on.

Great job, Wendy! This is always a favorite due to it's variability in color.
I'm glad you got a vigorous one. They have been very picky in my collection.

I find the variability in vigorosity (is that a word) as well. However my little sulky weekling is the one that is in sheath. Let's wait and see what happens! :D

I'm no teacher so I'm probably wrong, but I think, grammatically, you need only to say:-
"I find the variability in vigour as well"
Beautiful flower Wendy, in case you get bored with the colour on this one, send it to me...
This is one of my fave phrag hybrids and hence the recent purchase! Alas, the in bud plant I got had little roots when I unpotted it so it is unlikely to flower any time soon... oh well, at least when it does I can say it was my fault :D
cheers
