Since the Paph Primary thread was so, um, popular (??)
shall we continue?
This one's tough for me, as I really prefer the species Phrags, particularly when it comes to the long-petaled Phrag. species and we all know of my besseae obsession. Also, there's always so much new breeding going on, it's hard to stay constant....
That said, if I had to choose close to primary, I'd say in no particular order:
Hanne Popow
Jason Fischer
St. Ouen
I think partly because of so much variation in color.
I really like some of the newer, more complex breeding going on though, which I don't like as much in Paphs. Asuko Fischer and Windsor Castle come to mind for their spectacular color.
If I were to see in person some of the besseae x caudatum types, I might be inclined to add those to a top list also. I suppose for me, these are the harder choice than the top three Paph primaries!
