Since the Paph Primary thread was so, um, popular (??)
shall we continue?

This one's tough for me, as I really prefer the species Phrags, particularly when it comes to the long-petaled Phrag. species and we all know of my besseae obsession. Also, there's always so much new breeding going on, it's hard to stay constant....

That said, if I had to choose close to primary, I'd say in no particular order:
Hanne Popow
Jason Fischer
St. Ouen

I think partly because of so much variation in color.
I really like some of the newer, more complex breeding going on though, which I don't like as much in Paphs. Asuko Fischer and Windsor Castle come to mind for their spectacular color.

If I were to see in person some of the besseae x caudatum types, I might be inclined to add those to a top list also. I suppose for me, these are the harder choice than the top three Paph primaries!

Heather, not an easy choice to make as my obsession drives me to want them all.

But...Jason Fischer
Grande
Schroederae

This trio would give me a nice range of color and shape. But of course,I could/would NEVER limit myself to just three.

The only ones I can say I like because I have paid attention to it is:

Court Jester (caudatum x boissierianum) Love the dorsal!
Meditation (caricinum x warscewiczianum) Love the dark color and dorsal!
Wossen (richteri x schlimii) Cutest little pink flowers!

Not much of phraggle yet. I will have to work on that one! Grandes are pretty nice also. Sorry Not a huge fan of the reds... Don't HAMMER me! :poke:

I won't even tackle this one! I have lots of Phrag hybrids, and I love them all. Unless maybe to say my favorites are yet to come -- maybe... (kovachii hybrids).
