Has any of yyou heard of this plant. I had been growing it and really not even paying any attention to it I don't even know where I got it from. It looks like some kind of cacti but is a succlent. Well last winter it started this huge bud I was extremly surprised I had no idea what this thing was doing just kept getting bigger then opened to a purple star like flower and after a week it changed color to more tan or beige and with the change in color came the stench kinda reminds one of some kind of bulbo.Don't know what I did to make it bloom but I would like to bloom it again. probably was from neglect before now that I'm watering and feeding it won't flower again.

It's in the dogbane family (apocynaceae). I have a stapelia geffettii, also stinky. Some people think the flower looks kinda like an anus, others think it just looks like something decomposing.
