I'll speak to the first one - I'd say William Ambler is a good price. Three growths? nice! Large plant - probably taking after the roth parent. Here's a pic.

Not so sure of the armeniacum cross, so I'll let someone else take that one.

Here's a pic of the other one...

Apparently it is Golden Millennium and Parkside has a 4-6"ls/4"pot one for $35. So, yeah, I'd say $40 for a 2 growth is also pretty good.

I've had a few people yell at me for promoting fiscal irresponsibility... Some people have no life.

I've been pretty good for the last few years. I charge plants to my credit card, but I pay off the card every month.

Mmmm, credit hell....ya, I've a great story about that!
Some of you guys already know this - Two weeks ago, some a-hole scammed me on my cell phone and effectively, ID thefted me. The guy actually forwarded my home phone to Pennsylvania!

Here's the kicker - he tried to make a rather large payment on one of my cards (it was later returned, AND I caught the bastard and so it was actually reversed twice, yet another headache to deal with last night...) I was "smart" enough to tell the woman at my card's fraud department that I wanted the payment reversed. She actually suggested I leave it be....my response was, "um, that's FRAUD" ! Hello!? Geez, the plants I could have bought!

Actually - all things considered, though it is a blood pressure rollercoaster of a nightmare I wouldn't wish on anyone (except maybe the bastard who did it) most people have been SUPER helpful. Discover caught the fraud w/in about 1/2 an hour, and Citibank has a really excellent assistance department that basically makes certain that everyone who should be contacted (even your other creditors) is, and conference calls in Trans Union (one of the three main credit bureaus.) I learned an immense amount the last two weeks. I am SUPER paranoid now...but in the end - most people have been really really WONDERFUL to work with. The woman from Discover who called and told me what was happening, walked me through everything, all the while dealing with me in EXTREME freak out mode - I was at work, alone, at the time, and had customers in the store! By the time I got a case at Citibank, the day after it happened, I'd actually been in touch w/ just about everyone I should have been, thanks to Denise at Discover. If it hadn't been for her, he could have done a LOT more damage.

I was an idiot, let's just get that out on the table - but he totally convinced me he was from my cell provider - knew stuff already....SCARY sh*t....

Yeah! Just watch out - in retrospect, there were a couple of red flags, but I was at work, busy, a little distracted....I sure hope they catch him! I did get an address, and phone numbers (if they aren't bogus.)

Sorry to derail your thread!
Are you getting the plants? You should! :poke:
