I've has this problem with paphs for years, Not all get it but most do eventually. I've tried various media with no change. I use well water which is slightly alkaline but has high levels if bicarbonates. Any suggestions?

Looks like you are overwatering your plants. Let the plants dry in between watering.

looks like a fungal infection, but there is probably stress from water with high Total Dissolved Solids. Have you thought of a Reverse Osmosis filter for your well water?

If your plants stay too wet constantly then they will attract rot and other diseases. Make sure you have plenty of air circulation around your plants.

I had a plant that looked just like that and eventually it died but fortunately my other plants didn't catch the same disease whatever it was!

I think you should separate that plant from the others. whatever that is is slowly spreading.
