One spike is branching with 2 branched spikes from the sides. Not a great photo since all my plants are now indoors under HPS. Thanks for looking! http://mysite.verizon.net/vze6o1l1/c.jpg Mang September 29th, 2005, 04:13 PM Looks great! Will be waiting for the grand finale! Mang Paphraguy September 29th, 2005, 04:26 PM Thanks, Mang! I was wondering if Phrags are available in nurseries in India. Do people grow Phrags in India? Just curious. TADD September 29th, 2005, 04:33 PM Cool can't wait! I wish my phrag would bloom... Once I get it under my MH.... Mang September 29th, 2005, 04:52 PM Peter: Finding nurseries selling Paphs is a mighty big problem, Phrags? You might as well forget it especially if you are located in the North East. Mang Paphraguy September 29th, 2005, 05:03 PM Sorry to hear that, Mang! And I thought I was very unlucky to not find any kov available here yet. Can you import Phrags on your own? Mang September 29th, 2005, 05:06 PM Yes it's possible provided you are loaded and know the ropes. Mang Paphraguy October 6th, 2005, 01:44 PM Here is an updated photo. I'm not a big fan of bybrids but this is one of the few that I love and have in my collection. :D Thanks for looking! http://mysite.verizon.net/vze6o1l1/c1.jpg Paphgirl October 6th, 2005, 01:53 PM It's even nicer than last year. Hurry up w/ that division, will ya? :poke: Paphraguy October 6th, 2005, 02:30 PM I think the flower is slightly larger than last year's also. I love how elegant and delicate it looks. Paphraguy October 6th, 2005, 05:47 PM I forgot to mention the flower is slightly fragrant. :D Grandma MC October 6th, 2005, 06:55 PM It's beautiful Peter. I have a tiny seedling. I may have to wait forever for it to bloom. Greenpaph I wonder what it would be like to have a plant with 20 growths. I sure would like to have a large one in my collection some day. I feel lucky to have 4 or 5 growths. If I want one that large I suppose I will have to buy it that large to begin with. Maybe some day I will find a large one. Grandma Paphraguy October 6th, 2005, 07:00 PM Thanks for the nice comments, Grandma! Mine grew very quickly, doubled in size in just one year. If you don't have the patience, then definitely get a larger multigrowth plant. J W Tucker October 6th, 2005, 07:53 PM One of my favorite non-red phrags. Everyone should have one. Paphgirl October 6th, 2005, 08:01 PM Thanks for the nice comments, Grandma! Mine grew very quickly, doubled in size in just one year. If you don't have the patience, then definitely get a larger multigrowth plant. Yeah, or a division! :poke: So, when *am* I getting that? (yeah, I know, I'm being obnoxious! Ask me if I care! ) Soooo pretty, but the darn thing spikes too often....hmph. Paphraguy October 6th, 2005, 08:09 PM Paphwoman, hopefully I can divide it next summer and you'll be the first to know for sure! Paphgirl October 6th, 2005, 08:22 PM I'm REALLY just kidding you, but I DO like that plant! couscous74 October 6th, 2005, 09:57 PM Beautiful flower  Paphraguy October 9th, 2005, 04:01 PM Thank you all for the nice comments! I found a 3rd spike on the plant this morning. :-dance: Grandma MC October 9th, 2005, 06:40 PM Peter When you get to be my age is isn't only patience......It's time also. I'm not buying orchids for my grandchildren to enjoy. I buy them for myself. If they enjoy them later thats great but I buy for myself now. Is that being selfish? If it is I will go on being selfish because I want to appreciate the blooms myself. I love my blooms even tho I do enjoy growing the plants. Grandma Mang October 10th, 2005, 02:11 AM Peter thanks. I love the colour. Mang Paphraguy October 10th, 2005, 08:43 AM Thanks, Mang! The flowers always remind me of our native Cyps. phragfan October 10th, 2005, 09:46 AM Peter When you get to be my age is isn't only patience......It's time also. But then none of us know when we'll see our orchids for the last time. So a new quote: Life is short, enjoy orchids! Grandma MC October 10th, 2005, 10:00 AM I hear and am with you! But then none of us know when we'll see our orchids for the last time. So a new quote: Life is short, enjoy orchids! Phragfan I love your quote. I think I will print it out and hang it on my wall. I'll print some photos of my Porters orchid blooms along with it. I have several beautiful catts in bloom, which I bought from you, sitting on my living room floor now. Time for another trip to Porters again also. Grandma phragfan October 10th, 2005, 01:49 PM I hear and am with you! But then none of us know when we'll see our orchids for the last time.
