Yes, it is true, Paphs are now appearing in video games! :D The characters in the new Microsoft game have to walk through a forest full of Paphs which to me look like they are all peloric sanderianums or even platyphyllums. I took a screen cap of the scene, here it is. :lol:

It is the newly released Microsoft game Dungeon Siege II, an excellent PC game, I really like it and I totally got hooked, much better than the first one.

They made them all pouchless and I wish they had kept the pouches! In one part of the forest, there are hundreds of them and some even in bud and some even had pouches! :lol: I was quite surprised to see Paphs in a video game.

Jake, the sequel to me is a little harder but fun and lots of places to explore, so at times one can get lost and some of the monsters are very powerful. Hope you enjoy it!

I finally found it in one of my old hard drives. Here is the screen capture. Note the giant Paph to the right which to me looks like a philippinense without the pouch. There are also a few more in the distance.

:lol: I moved them closer to the giant Paph flower because I wanted to see it up close. They probably didn't care because they were watching for any signs of danger. :lol: Now come to think of it, I think there were flowers with pouches in that Paphiopedilum forest.

I found an old used copy of this game today. I had a good chuckle when I picked it up because I remember seeing it here first.

Great game but a little too outdated now. I enjoyed it.
