Hey all, inspired by a suggestion from Stephan, I created a spreadsheet of counts of Paph and Phrag species AOS quality awards. It's not quite up to date, but hopefully I can soon get some more recent info. Please lemme know of any problems or suggestions:

Hi Stephen -
Background - I initially constructed my "database" in Excel - it is such a HUGE file now it takes ages to load, save, etc.


So I'm moving it to a "custom" designed database in Filemaker Pro.
So far I like it, but I used a template, and only have 9 records so far. I am thinking that I may need to start from scratch and NOT use the modified template - much harder at the start, but it may turn out to be better in the long run. At any rate, I can add photos, Quicktime files, and pdf's - so I'm hoping to put all the Wildcatt info and award info in for species and hybrids. That way, if I want to have something judged, I have the information about it at my fingertips.

p.s. - also, if I design from scratch, I *think* I can share w/ others, but I'm really new to this software. Planning on going out of town over Labor Day and this is my big "Sittin' on the beach" project" If people have an interest in the "finished" product (template) let me know! At this point I'm not sure what I'll have to offer, but I'd be happy to share if I possibly can and anyone is interested!

I'll check those out when I have some free time tomorrow.
I think there's a way to share my dbase, but not sure how yet - will work on that! (Though it is a loooong way from being done!!)

This goes way deeper than I was envisioning Stephen - It's great work - I'll be giving it a closer look later this evening.
