My Don Wimber has decided that it doesn't like its' temporary home and has lept twice now from the shelf it was on. No, the cat is not to blame.
Anyway, I now have a couple of broken leaves on the older previously bloomed growth. Should I snip them just below the break, or just leave them be? Luckily the new growth was protected and it also has a new start. I am waiting to take it to work on Monday, which is why it was put in another (apparently bad) place.

If the broken leaves don't bother you, just leave them on but if you want the plant to look nice and neat or you don't like looking at them, then snip them off.

Hehe, thanks Terp!

Remember the longifolium div. you sent me had that cracked leaf, Pete? (that one finally broke off!) That's how they are - about four of them. The issue is that now that the leaves are broken, they are hanging down low and keep getting stuck under the pot and such, which is leading me to want to snip them.

Then cut them off, the plant will look neater without the unattractive broken leaves getting in the way. Eventually, the broken leaves will fall off by themselves in time.

I usually cut them off. since I have had this problem of plants leaping to the floor in an apparent suicide attempt.
