I don't know about the 'Grace' parent but the parent 'CRS' is antec's breeding. Hope this helps!

You can run but you can't hide! LOL!!
Seriously, my collection doubled in a month upon hanging out w/ Pete - he's trouble! ;)

Peter, the last photo is the best one, I think. I like how it looks like the one above and below are sort of cascading through the photo, if that makes sense. I know, I'm weird, but it looks like it is dripping with parts of the blooms. Very cool.

I just love it Peter. It is a stunning species. Great colour contrast and those red petals. I have a seedling of the same cross but it is a fair way off flowering.

I received a large division of a roebellinii this week and was absolutely amazed at the size of the plant. It dwarfs my mature Lady Isabel. I thought roebellinii was a relatively small species. I will post a photo next week of it and see if you think it is a bit unusual.

Yes, this particular roeb cross does get quite large as it matures into a multigrowth plant. I have another cross Grace and Honey and it is smaller, more compact but it is not as matured, though. Yes do post pics of your roeb, I would love to see it!

Thank you all for the nice compliments! :)

I have a terrible time figuring out the difference w/out seeing the plant/blooms. I have a "roeb" that could be a phil, it looks much more like one, but still young, a laevigatum, that looks nothing like either phil. or roeb. A roeb. aureum that looks nothing like anything else also, and a phil. I know is a phil. And (you thought I was done?) a REAL roeb. ('Grace' x 'CRS' I think) coming as soon as it warms up. Sigh...and *someone* has been working on me to get a cross such as this also! :cheeky:

Nope, you're getting a roebellinii 'Pam' HCC/AOS x 'Grace' AM/AOS. I think you should get a Grace x CRS as well!

Alright Peter, I don't want to ask this next question, but I can't help myself. I'm sitting here twitching and in hot sweats, so here goes. Where can I find this plant? My wife is going to kill me

 I bought mine from B&B a few years ago and he still has them for I think $30-35 NBS. They only sell Paphs and Phrags and their plants are very well grown at great prices also. Orchidview also has BS roebs, same exact cross for I think $30 but I have never bought from them. This particular cross is a medium to fast grower and I have another cross 'Grace' x 'Honey' which stays small but is a slow grower. Hope this helps! Hope you get one because it is a beautiful species, I love it!

You're welcome! I don't know what B&B stands for but here is the link: B&B Orchids (http://www.bnborchids.com/)

I looked at the website, but they don't have an online catalog, so I sent them an email yesterday. No return email yet, I hope soon.

Go the B&B link again. At the home page they list "phrag prices" and "phrag prices". The second "phrag prices" just happens to list the "paph prices". I don't know how old the lists are but they are shown.

They mispelled Paphiopedilum as "Paphimedium", so just click on Paphimedium Prices and it should take you to their online catalog. I wish they would correct the spelling but I do recommend him, his plants are very well grown at great prices. This is bloom season and you may even get one in spike if you're lucky or you can ask if they have one in spike for you. Good luck!

I think it is a pretty new listing - the site was down for a while. I just double checked though and got into the Paph. catalog no problem.

I can't seem to get the website to load right on my computer. I'll see how it loads at work and hopefully I will be able to do it here at home.

I was able to load the website at work. I printed the long list of plants and I predict and order will soon be forth coming. Any other recommendations?

How about some Phrags? Do you grow any Phrags? He has some really nice ones.

Yes, I love phrags and I have quite a few. They seem to be easier to grow for me.

I don't know if he still has those 2 BS roths but if you don't have a roth and you want one, you should get one at that price.

Beautiful. Mine only had three flowers—they were well-formed, though. Maybe I’ll get four next time.
