Here's one of my favorite non-slippers that's been in bloom for a couple months. It is a primary hybrid of tobaense and cruentum, and stays small like tobaense. I have seen some of these get over a foot tall, but this one seems to be more dwarf growing. I keep it constantly moist and grow it in clay pellets(can't remember the brand) in a plastic pot. It recieves bright indirect light and 70+% humidity and grows under an HPS light in my basement.

lol, I was going to use a beer bottle...but I don't have anything I'll admit to drinking, especially around you Aussies. Where's that Everclear bottle when you need it?

Those bred by him (Teo Peng Seng) are normally about 2 feet tall and ever flowering. BTW, he's expecting his next grandchild this month.

I really like these! We have one at the greenhouse I am constantly picking up and looking at. It looks to be about as tall as yours, and has 2 flowers. Great throats!
