It isn't entirely common for phals, especially white standards, to bloom this time of year. But I have a few. Here is one I took yesterday:

And just for giggles, here is a horrible picture of D. pulcherrima "4D Splash". Klehms was using this for stud a long time ago. Probably have better ones now. It grows like a weed, and has at least five spikes. Of course Doritis tends to bloom in the summer, no surprises here. Hard to photograph since it is tall, though.

That is a pretty white Rob, and a bunch of flowers on the pucherima.

This is a slow time of year for allot of phals, but seems to be prime for yellows like fasciata. Violacea (or bellina), and gigantea seem busy now too.

I've got a pulchra bloom opening now too.
