Littlefrog August 11th, 2005, 08:49 PM More on the roth-side requirements, approximately 10-12 inch leafspan. It depends a bit on who is the pod parent. But in general, they have to be pretty large. 12" is conservative if it was made with roth as the pod parent. My biggest problem is that they seem to be slow growing. Perhaps that is just me. L I Jane August 11th, 2005, 08:54 PM Just a silly question if the cross is written on the tag as micranthum x roth. then roth is the pod parent right? couscous74 August 11th, 2005, 08:57 PM Pod parent name usually comes first, so that would be micranthum as a pod parent. So hopefully yours will flower with a smaller leafspan. Rob August 12th, 2005, 01:18 PM Hi LI Jane, In my experience it has more to do with having multiple growths , at least 1 mature and a few good starts before it will bloom. Although tha usually means the mature ls is @ 8-10 in. Rob thistle August 12th, 2005, 01:31 PM I have this one, with the micranthum parent first (micranthum 'Candor Kioo' x rothschildianum ' Candor Blawkhawk'), it's about 7.5" leafspan, but I don't think it's anywhere close to blooming-very pretty plant, though...
