My Orchid Society is having a Day at A & P Nursery this SaturdayThey have some nice plants. We get the tour and Nick Who Runs the Nursery will give a talk. We are having lunch there also. so we plan on being there awhile. I've been looking over thier site and making note of favorites BUt I will end up telling Nick what I like and let him Hunt down plants for me . I will most likely buy plants that are in spike. They have some nice plants when you have that many blooming plants in front of you and time to spend it starts to become hard to decide on what's going home with you.I'll fill in the details when It;s over . Hi Heather , you could always go as my guest. There may even be extra's in the box lunch dept. Nick gives good talks . I don't know what the subject will be but the last time we heard him everyone was so quiet listenly intently. We are meeting there for 11 am. so if you change your mind your welcome . Ray

Sorry, I wasn't clear, Ray.
My society meeting is the same time on Saturday and I have a committment to pick up pots and supplies, and also it is only my second meeting, so I'm really looking forward to it.

I do like A&P and Nick is a nice guy - bought my first phrag from them and he always remembers me. Came this close --- to buying a Merc. from them in March at the MFS.
Thanks for the invite! If I was free I'd be there, no doubt!! :)

Sounds like you have a fun meeting comming up. We have our Show comming at the end of Nov. At the same location as last year. I think I remember you saying you went to it last year. Well A&P will be there again when the time comes you could always preorder one from Nick. Even if he dosen end up being there if you order from him he would go in the greenhouses and selest one for you. They do have many nice ones to choose from.Going back over the thread about your Society meeting I see where I messed up. you were clear just my tired brain misfuctioning comes with old age. So Have fun on Sat. Sounds like youe repotting or doing demo's on potting. Which Society do you belong to?Just curious if you guys do our show? Ray

I decided to join NHOS because their meeting times fit my schedule better than MOS. MOS show is beginning of October. I am sure A&P will be there also. Yes, tho RI was a trip, better than Hartford - I'll be there , and NHOS as well I am sure. Geesh, I guess I'm going to have to start doing more than "going" to these things. :D
