They are all lovely Hans, thanks for posting! That is a great assortment of C. flavum. The froschii and wardii are wonderful as well.

Indeed a lovely flower. The flat petal stance and laterally compressed and "tall" lip are very interesting...I'd have to say for sure it is a hybrid, but what is anyone's guess. Since it is likely of wild origin, I'd have to lump it into the complex of hybrids of northwest China and adjacent parts of Russia, to wit, another C. x ventricosum or a complex back-cross. Fantastic color and form, whatever it is.

I also think, it has ventricosum and macranthos "in the genes"
