This ia a cross of Phrag. Eric Young x Phrag. Barbara LeAnn and was registered by Acker's in 2004. This one is a triploid that grows quite quickly and blooms freely. The flowers open successively with three to seven per spike.

Beautiful flower. How big is the whole plant?

The plant is on the small side, about 12 inches. I figure it will top out at about 14 at the most.

Great color!
Love the contrast - much less "bleed" than some Eric Young crosses (at least to my not-so-educated eyes.)
Your photos rock, btw!
What kind of camera do you use (I hope I haven't asked you that before!?)

The camera I use is a Canon EOS Digital Rebel. I have used it extensively in the field and have been extremely pleased with the results!

Nice flower. It has great color. My recent Phragmipedium Magdalene Rose - Phragmipedium Eric Young (4n) X Beauport (4n)- shares many features. However, you can clearly see the Barbara LeAnn in your flower. I posted a pick back in June.
