To divide it I'm assuming one would have to dig up the whole plant and physically separate the plant by hand or with some kind of sharp tool. Why do you feel the need to divide it? newbie August 10th, 2009, 10:58 PM Welcome to the forum Lois! If it is under 10 growths I would recommend not dividing it unless your giving a piece away. Check out this link (http://www.cypripedium.de/forum/messages/2555.html) to see how to divide Cyps the correct way. Good luck. Paphy57 August 11th, 2009, 08:13 PM Welcome to the site! It had a beautiful root system, and I gave one section to the person who gave it to me and one to my son. Now I am waiting to see it this spring, although we just had more snow this morning! Lois Dido April 18th, 2011, 07:35 AM would love to see a pict when in bloom. |
