I found some tiny fly like bugs flying near my window plants and my gf is all upset. I think they are gnats how do I get rid of them? thanks!

I believe that if you set out a glass of vinegar, they will fly into it to get some, but they get stuck in it. Another thing you can do is to get a Pinguicula (there are threads on the site about them).

I used the yellow sticky tapes I found at home depot...works really well!

If you are growing your plants too wet then hold back watering your plants for a while and they should go away.

Sounds like you're overwatering your plants. Provide more air flow to your grow area and carnivorous plants like Nick has suggested works.

I think Sundews will do a better job at eradicating gnats than Venus Fly Traps.

Good luck! Fortunately fungus gnats are not hard to get rid of. Just don't grow your plants too wet and you should be fine.
