First blooming of a seedling I purchased 8-9 months ago. This is a very small growing plant. The flowers are a bit under 2 cm.

This plant may have been moved to the genus Pollardia. I've seen some references to that.

Cute Kev! Great lip ( do you call it that on this one? I know you do on other Encs...) Nice photo also - very sparkly.
Thanks for sharing!

The complexity and beauty of those tiny types always amazed me and why I love Pleurothallids so much. Seeing Epis though, some of them like yours want me to try them too.
Good job!

I see no reason why that wouldn't be called a lip. Glad you liked it.

I know what you mean completely. These little things don't scream at you from across the room, but invite you in for a closer look. If you take the time to do so, wonderous things can be found.

Chuckle, how true. I invite you to take a magnifying glass to some of the Dracula species though to be truly amazed, like Dracula riopelle or any Restrepia species.

Cool flower. Great photo. :clap2: My camera hates anything that small.
