Have any of you heard about antracnose? I have heard that lupines can get this disease, and now I am afraid that my lupines (which I removed last summer) have infected some of my orchids.

I don't know the answer but I guess it is possible. That is why I do not like putting my precious and rare slippers outside in the summer, too risky!

I've never heard of it, Milda, but I'll be very interested in what other members have to say, and will take heed if there is a problem.

Our lupines in the front yard look OK and my paphs, although outside, are far away. (I hope) Still, it is a cause for concern.

I hope your orchids will be OK! :(

You can read about this on another forum, and there are some links to photos if you scroll down.

I am afraid that's the reason for my strange looking Phrags.

They were close neighbours to my Cymbidium last winter....
