Have any of you heard about antracnose? I have heard that lupines can get this disease, and now I am afraid that my lupines (which I removed last summer) have infected some of my orchids.

Paphraguy August 3rd, 2005, 03:00 PM I don't know the answer but I guess it is possible. That is why I do not like putting my precious and rare slippers outside in the summer, too risky! dustyatticstuff August 3rd, 2005, 03:25 PM I've never heard of it, Milda, but I'll be very interested in what other members have to say, and will take heed if there is a problem. Our lupines in the front yard look OK and my paphs, although outside, are far away. (I hope) Still, it is a cause for concern. I hope your orchids will be OK! :( Milda August 3rd, 2005, 04:07 PM You can read about this on another forum, and there are some links to photos if you scroll down. http://www.ukorchidforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=1037 I am afraid that's the reason for my strange looking Phrags. http://www.slipperorchidforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=385 They were close neighbours to my Cymbidium last winter.... :?
