I am wondering if anyone has the Artemis DNA Annotation and Sequencer tool, a program developed by The Sanger Institute in England. I am unsure as to how to operate the program, as it won't let me do anything. I cannot add any bases in the sequence.....

Anyone have any other DNA programs? I am new to Artemis, and it seems like a good tool, but cannot work it. I looked for help, and still nothing..... argh.

ttyl,

I am assuming no one here is into DNA and such, I must contact the makers of the Artemis program to use it I guess.....

I guess it happens,

Patrick - don't give up so easily. We have several members who work w/ DNA - Littlefrog Rob, who is away right now, is one of them. I'm sure when he's back he'll help if he can.

Yes, I have used Artemis. Not extensively. I'm not an expert in the software. But e-mail me and I'll try to get you started or direct you to something that will work for you. That is actually my job... That is what a bioinformatician does. *grin*

You can even e-mail me at work. halgren@msu.edu
