Hi guys, I have just bought a Red Fire Fern Oxalis (Hedysaroids Clover) as an indoor plant. I have grown the ususal green leaf with white flower oxalis but this new plant is a bit different (I think). Can anyone tell me if this plant produces bulbs so in time the plant will bush out or does it set seed? The stems look wiry not like the green leafed one which has somewhat watery stems (sorry thats the best I can do to describe their stems).

I think this Red Fire Oxalis remains quite small but again, not 100% sure of this either.

Any information you can give, will be appreciated.

Many thanks! :-)

I have not grown Oxalis intentionally, but I think that if you treat this Oxalis the same as your green one, it should do fine.

Hi Mary
I have purple leaved Oxalis with small pink flowers that were in 3 hanging baskets and other pots. They are bulbs and spread so each year I have more.Because temperatures go below freezing here I put them in the basement to overwinter and do not water, but my daughter keeps one as a house plant.
