Im a beginner myself and have lots of questions which do you find easy to grow paph cyp phrag or mexipedium? I only have paph now so I may get a phrag in the future. Is your mexipedium hard to take care of?
orchidlover December 4th, 2008, 03:40 PM i grow my Cyps outside in pots. ;)
What do you do with them in the winter? Do you bring them and store them in the fridge or leave them outside?

I never put myself the question
I tested, I listened to the plants and that succeeded more or less
we should not be posed too many questions ;)
the Mexipedium and the Phrag are in pozzolana. they have to eat and have to drink permanently. my impression is that they like... for the moment.
pierre63 December 4th, 2008, 05:01 PM What do you do with them in the winter? Do you bring them and store them in the fridge or leave them outside?
as long as it does not freeze they remain outside. then they go in a room out freezes.
my Disa are in interior for the night and the day outside with the sun like lizards :p

I love Disas but I have never grown one. I heard they are very hard to grow.
pierre63 December 5th, 2008, 02:45 PM I think that the Disa are easier has to cultivate than one wants to say it.
finally, all depends on the place where we live.
there is especially the compliance strict with certain rules.
after they are easy plants has to live :D
