nice big crisp looking dorsal on this one. i would like to see more spots on the petals though.

This would be a hybrid between Paph. lawrenceanum crossed with Paph. Ruby Sands. The way you have it written, Paph. (Lawrenceanum x 'Ruby Sands'), it's as though it is a pure lawrenceanum (with no clonal name) crossed with another pure lawrenceanum (clonal name - 'Ruby Sands'); but that doesn't look like a pure lawrenceanum. BTW, all species names (eg. lawrenceanum), are not capitalized. Genus names (eg. Paphiopedilum), are capitalized. Nice form on that one. Good growing! |
