Here is my latest aquisition. I can't take credit for the bloom this time. The spike alone with out flower is 22" tall! This is one of my favorite parvi species! Enjoy!

I believe this flower may be a bit beyond its prime so no aroma. Generally, I get a strong raspberry fragrance from these! Maybe next time!

Not all malipoenses have fragrance ... only a small proportion of those collected malipoense are having that raspberry smell. This is also true for delenatii collected plants as well.

A fragrant malipoense is always fragrant no matter how poor the flower looks like and how bad you grow that plant.

So, what we have to do is to find the frangrant plants and propagate them as many as we can .. as a breeder ...
