We already had a few gardening topics so why not a dedicated gardening discussion section? :D

And speaking of gardening, all of my Hostas, Lilies and Bleeding Hearts are done for the season here in Maine, actually quite sad to see them wilting away slowly until they come back up next spring. Fall is my favorite season and it's just around the corner! :woohoo:

The sedums here are just starting to turn. All the hostas are still up at the moment.

The only flowering garden plant in bloom right now in my garden is my Hydrangea which is always the last to go right after its leaves turn color. Next week the night temps will drop down into the lower 40's so it's time for me to bring all my plants indoors and it will be such a chore!

It sure will be a chore to bring in all the plants! When it starts getting to 40's at night here, I actually move the parvi's outside..LOL

I miss all the northern garden plants so much but variety is good I guess and some of the tropicals are not that bad.

How large is that? Beautiful pond!
I am in the process of building a 3200 gallon koi pond. It sure is a LOT of work digging a pond in the ground!

What type of filtration do you have on it?

Hi...Nick it's an Aquascape system works good not sure it's the best but I get by with it. Ponds can get real complicated, so do your home work, there's a lot to learn, good luck.

They can definitely get complicated. I know that it is bad for the fish to have rocks on the bottom, so I am going for a pond designed for %100 functionality, but it will look good also.

I have been aching to grow some vegetables and plants on my backyard but every time I combine, they do not rise to the occasion often dying and wilting down. I though that I was lacking on water, sunlight and even some requirements for them to grow. So I decided to change the spot to my front yard and I was able to let them grow. I found out that there were some traces of some sort of chemical on my backyard causing the to wilt. I then chose to go raised bed just to be extra sure.
