Peter, I'm still just learning and have a long way to go, I like the seedling species plants and now flasks because they really make me read and pay attention to them and I made a decision just before joining the forum to stick with "Slippers". The one Phrag I have was a gift from a grower and I'm going to add some more soon. Most of the long time growers and experts on this forum may not realize it but they make this forum a great learning expierience, the individuals new to growing Orchids are just as good to learn from when i read about their problems and sucesses....Thanks everyone

I think we have a few members here who grow their plants in the basement. Take a look at a poll I had started awhile back. Where do you grow? (http://www.slipperorchidforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12580&highlight=grow+orchids)

 sorry I replied to the wrong post Bob. I should have posted the link in your other thread which you mentioned that you grow in the basement.

Excellent! I myself is a species slipper nut but I do have a few hybrids that I can't live without. I, too was once a beginner a long time ago and I'm still learning new things about slippers everyday and that makes it even more fun!
