View Full Version : Cypripedium parviflorum in Newfoundland

These are blooming now in our Botanical garden. I collected these about 15 years ago from a road construction site. Hoped there would be a planipetalum variety among them, but alas no. I did get three distinct forms however. The first is the common forms here, the following in a pale form while the last has very dark petals.

Todd, I know they are difficult to transplant, how did you go about it? I am interested in transplanting some on my property that are too near my driveway. Bob

Can you post a shot of their actual growing conditions. I love the formal black background shot (how do you get the black background done?) but I'd love to see their actual growing conditions.
