Hiya, a while ago I was repotting what I think is a paph Leeanum and a division broke off. Didn't know what to do so I stuck it back in the pot. It stayed alive but nothing happened with the roots for a while. I was told at another slipper forum that it wont produce roots as it has nothing to keep it alive.

However, checking it this afternoon, look what I've found. yay!

Should I now be repotting this as a seperate plant...or can I leave it in the old pot with the parent plant?

Thanks!

:woohoo: You did great! I would probably plant it into a separate pot since it has rooted or you could leave it with the parent plant and let it get all the extra humidity from the parent plant.

Thanks people! I'm so pleased. And yea, tommorow at my mass watering, I think I'll repot it. I have humidity at around 85% in my growing area anyway so I don't think that should be a problem.

Looks like this one will recover and be a nice plant in a couple years. I've always admired this hybrid .. it would be cool to grow one to specimen size.

When you repot, it would be best to put a mix with more spaghnum than you usually would use. This will help the plant to put out more roots and keep them more humid.
