This has become one of my favorites. It is one of the most beautiful Cyp hybrids I have seen and it is proving itself quite hardy. Last year it bloomed for the first time with one flower on one stem. I moved it in the fall and this year it has three flowers on four stems. It is kentuckiense x pubescens. It is large, nearly as large as kentuckiense, and has kentuckiense-shaped flowers. It has pubescens flower color. It also blooms at a good time. All the Asian and most American species are now done, kentuckiense will bloom late next week and reginae in the second half of June.

Beautiful Ron, and it seems like a good grower based on your experience. I wonder if it will make superclumps like Gisela. Great pics!

It will be interesting to see. It certainly made a lot of progress this year. For me kentuckiense clumps very slowly, pubescens variably - some clump fast and some expand slowly. A Lothar with 20 flowers would be quite a sight.
